Winemaker Comments
The exotic, perfumed nose is followed by a charming entry highlighted by dried rose petal, clove and forest floor. Sweeter nuances, including cherry cola and fresh raspberry, appear on the palate, where a fine texture leads to a lengthy finish. A wine an attractive fruit forward character upon release that will develop nicely in the cellar over the next 5 years. This is a lovely match for wild mushroom dishes.
Tasting Notes
Cherry fragrant; silky and juicy with pure acidity and smooth, lush texture; bright, tangy red cherry fruit and juicy flavors; an enchantingly fresh and elegant expression with lots of ready charm; ready to drink now but should add finesse and complexity over the near term.
