Winemaker Comments

The complex mushroomy nose, with its damp earth notes and spice overtones, immediately marks this as a classic Pinot Noir. On the palate, the range of flavors runs a dark gamut from blackberry/plum to dark chocolate with hints of bramble, making this stunning, age-worthy wine a study in both power and finesse.  Match it with veal scallopini with wild mushrooms or other rich meat dishes.
